Hi! I’m María

...a Content Producer
and Graphic Designer from
Spain, based in Cambridge, UK.

My two biggest passions have always been communication and painting. My journey began at the age of 14 when I made my debut as a radio host for Simplemente Jóvenes, a magazine show on my hometown’s radio station. When the time came, I pursued studies in Media at IES Néstor Almendros in Seville, Spain, and after graduating, I moved to Madrid to work in the content department of A Tu Vera, a nationally broadcast musical talent show. From there, I became part of some of the most successful TV productions in Spain, including Big Brother, Big Brother VIP, Married at First Sight, Bienvenidos a mi Hotel (Four in a Bed), and multiple programs for Disney+. Soon I started for some abroad, like Access All Areas and Tini: El Gran Cambio de Violetta, both for Disney+ UK. Throughout my career, I have been involved in filming, video editing, script translation and adaptation, casting, and other areas of media production.

After more than a decade in TV content production, I moved to the UK, where I soon began my studies in Graphic Design at ARU in Cambridge. During this time, combining two key branches of communication, I started a new chapter as a freelance content creator, producing content for companies’ digital platforms such as the Asociación Española de Cinematografía (AEC) and MedShr. I also applied my video and photography expertise within a branding and visual identity strategy for Cambridge Dining Co. Meanwhile, I took my first steps as a Graphic Designer, creating logos for Iloomina, Kombiotik, and the Pride Month version for AEC. Additionally, I designed the cover for the book Regreso a Palma del Río. Al encuentro del tiempo and the poster for the independent film Jacqueline “La Liberté”.

Since graduating in 2024, I have been part of Cambridge Dining Company, a catering and events company experiencing significant growth. In my role, I am responsible for producing all visual materials, including brand identity and logos for Cavendish Café (Ray Dolby Center, Cambridge) and The Almonry Kitchen (Ely Cathedral, Cambridgeshire), packaging design, and menu design, among other graphic assets. I also support the Marketing department by creating content for both, website and social media, ensuring a cohesive and up-to-date digital presence.

As a visual communicator, my experience and education have provided me with a strong foundation in visual storytelling, marketing strategies, conceptualisation, and brand identity. This allows me to create compelling designs that align with a brand’s values. As a content creator, I continuously expand the range of audiovisual resources I work with, staying up to date with new trends that enhance marketing strategies. My approach focuses on generating content that boosts audience engagement and effectively showcases products and services, always maintaining a brand-aligned perspective and a professional presence across all digital platforms.
